43.Estrogen receptor positivity in breast carcinoma, immunoperoxidase, medium power microscopic

The cells of this breast carcinoma are highly positive for estrogen receptor with this immunoperoxidase stain. Estrogen receptor positivity correlates with a better prognosis because such positive neoplastic cells are better differentiated and more amenable to hormonal manipulation.
