122.Renal arteriole, fibrinoid necrosis with malignant hypertension, microscopic

The second form of arteriolosclerosis is shown here. The arteriole here has an "onion skin" appearance typical of hyperplastic arteriolosclerosis. This lesion is most often associated with malignant hypertension.
