93.Meningioma, sphenoid ridge, gross

An incidental finding at autopsy, this meningioma involved the sphenoid ridge, another common location. The base of the sella is at the bottom center, above which is the tan pituitary. Above and lateral to pituitary are the common carotid and anterior cerebral arteries, above which slightly medially are the optic nerves. To the upper right is the light tan meningioma.
